Under continuous family management since 1945, the Frederick Cooper Company's traditional of artistic sensibility and hand crafting has continued and expanded since it's inception. The company operates as a group of artist studios. Lamps are individually produced by hand, not on an assembly line. One of Frederick Cooper's signature treatments includes the use of silk and other fine and exotic materials to produce its unique hand-sown lampshades.
