About White Finishes

White finishes, like black, have some fairly specific typical uses in lighting. Along with variations like Antiqued or Distressed, it is found in Casual lamps and chandeliers since it has a lightness and informal look. Some Contemporary designs use White for it's clean appearance. For the same reason it is used in home basics like flush mounts or track lights. Another common use is in Traditional or simple shaped outdoor fixtures.
