The color is air brushed on. I purchased their three lamp lily pad lamp. The glass pieces had a sticky film on them so I decided to wash them in some Dawn and water. Just soaking in the water the paint started peeling off. I called Meyda and they said I should have contacted them on care. No instructions are included. And they are not going to replace these. Poor support and a cheap product.
