Order Acceptance and Pricing
Customers receiving an email order confirmation for orders placed online does not necessarily indicate acceptance of that order by Lamps Beautiful. While we try our best to maintain current and correct data, including pictures, on the website, at times errors are made. These can include typographical or data entry errors in pricing, description, and stock availability. As soon as we are aware of such errors, we will correct them as quickly as possible. Orders placed that contain such errors will be cancelled and you will be notified. Lamps Beautiful reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order, for any reason.
Content on the site, including prices, availability, pictures, and data is subject to change at any time, without notification.
It is possible to cancel an order for an UNSHIPPED item free of charge. Contact us as soon as possible after placing the order to let us know you want to cancel it. Once an order has shipped, if we are contacted early enough while it is in transit, the shipment can be recalled and brought back. Recalled shipments will incur a shipping charge and possibly a 20% restocking fee if we are charged that fee by our suppliers. If the item is delivered and someone is able to speak to the delivery person before they leave the box at the door, you can refuse delivery. You are responsible for the cost of that package being returned. Or if the box is delivered and not refused, you are responsible for return of that UNOPENED package. Note that orders for custom and made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once production begins.
There are a few cases in which Lamps Beautiful initiates a cancellation. One instance is when an order comes in for a discontinued item. We will notify you, cancel the order, and remove the item from the website. Another case is when there is a typographical error on our website and an order comes in for the item. We will cancel that order, contact you, and fix the error. Other instances of us canceling orders may be for reason of suspected fraud, incomplete customer information, or for any other reason we decide a cancellation is needed.
Your credit card will not be charged until your order is shipped, with the exceptions of made-to-order items and large orders which may need to be charged at the time of order. You may grant us permission by phone to charge it earlier if you'd like. Lamps Beautiful accepts several payment methods for orders placed online. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover through our checkout as well as Paypal and Google Wallet. Orders through Paypal expire after 30 days, but some items take more than 30 days to ship. We will contact you if this is the case and give you the choice to charge your Paypal account immediately or to use a different payment method. Please note that when an order is placed online your card is automatically authorized, which reserves the amount of the order total for 30 days on the card, but the charge is only finalized and we receive the money after the order is shipped. Another exception is that some banks immediately withdraw the money when using their debit card.
You may use other payment methods offline such as by money order, bank transfer, or check. You will need to contact us if you wish to use one of these other payment options. The listing of a product on the website does not mean that it is currently in stock. It is usually in stock but in some cases might be on backorder. Unfortunately, some items are unexpectedly discontinued before being removed from the website. We strive to keep the stock information up to date, but sometimes there are errors. You will be notified if an order is placed for a backordered or discontinued item. Your credit card will be charged only when the order is shipped. Please contact us to check the most current availability for any critical or urgent projects.
Colors of Product Images
Please be aware that the appearance of colors in product images can vary greatly depending on the computer monitor or device on which the images are being viewed. For example, an item with a brown finish could appear to have more red tones on one monitor while it may appear to have more yellow on a different monitor. If the precise coloring is important to you, we suggest that you try looking at the item on as many computer monitors and mobile devices that you can in order to find an approximate average in color rendering across all of those screens.
We try to use the best quality photography we can to represent our products, but sometimes the images supplied to us from the manufacturers are less than perfect in clarity or color representation.

These terms and conditions may change without prior notice, so it is the responsibility of users of the website to keep themselves familiar with these terms.
The content on the website is the exclusive intellectual property of Lamps Beautiful and its parent company, Bears In The Woods Products. Taking content from the website and reproducing or publishing it elsewhere for any reason other than personal reference is a violation of United States and international copyright laws.
