About Pewter Finishes

Pewter finish is very similar to Nickel but has more warm undertones such as hints of browns or oranges, although a minority of items use the term but contain cooler undertones. Pewter is a traditional material so the styles tend to lean that direction as well. These are all applied finishes that imitate the look of the real material with variations like Antiqued. Some manufacturers use it in Contemporary or Transitional style light fixtures as well as the more Traditional ones.
